Click here to get PLAY N STAY PET CAMP REQUIRED FORMS Rules and Regulations: For the safety and sanity of our guests and staff, ALL Dogs over 8 months of age MUST BE SPAYED or NEUTERED! Unaltered adult dogs are often a hygiene and safety risk during play group activities. GLADIATOR BREEDS, such as Bulldogs, Pit Bulls, and Pit Bull Mixes are not accepted. We have met many very nice Pit Bulls and Bulldogs, however it has been our experience that they can often be quick-tempered and impatient in a high-energy play group. These breeds can make great pets, but are often a poor choice for interactive dog boarding facilities, such as Play N Stay Pet Camp. We apologize for the inconvenience. The
goal of Play n Stay Pet Camp is to provide a safe, fun and stimulating social
environment for dogs. To ensure the safety and health of your pet and of our
other guests, we require all of our guests to comply with the following RULES
AND REGULATIONS: SHOTS:
PROOF
OF CURRENT VACCINATIONS IS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION! Your dog’s registration
process is not complete without proof of current vaccinations, including:
Should you find that your pet's vaccinations are
overdue please arrange for the proper shots (drops) to be given preferably five
(5) days prior to it's stay with us. FLEAS:
All dogs must be current on a flea regimen
(Frontline or Advantage). If your dog is not currently protected from fleas, for
your convenience, we can administer Frontline Plus on intake, at your expense. HEALTH:
All dogs must be in good health. Owners will need to
certify that their dogs are in good health and have not been ill with a
communicable condition in the last 30 days. On admission, all dogs must be free
from any condition, which would potentially jeopardize other guests. BEHAVIOR:
All
dogs must be non-aggressive. Owners will need to certify that their dog(s) have
not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person.
Aggressive behavior towards other dog(s) must be documented. DAYS,
HOURS, and PROMPTNESS: Unscheduled appointments interfere
with the interactive nature and security of our facility. Pick-ups, drop offs,
and tours are scheduled from 8 to 6, by appointment only. Call 740-695-2200 to make a
reservation. For
the safety of our dogs, we appreciate your promptness. Please do not be
more than 10 minutes early or late for your appointment. If you need
to adjust your time, please call 740-695-2200! RESERVATIONS:
Reservations and deposits are required for all boarding stays.
Deposits are calculated as follows: 3 day stay or less requires a $25.00 deposit
(per dog), 4 to 9 days stays require a $50.00 deposit (per dog), 10
days or more require a $75.00 deposit (per dog).
Cancellations must be given one week prior to your
intended arrival date, in order to have any deposits refunded, otherwise the
deposit is forfeited. Waiting lists are common throughout the summer and all
major holidays, and we encourage booking early. SPACE IS LIMITED!
DAYBOARD TEST:
A dayboard test is required for all dogs over 30#, prior to the first overnight
stay. Please call for appointment.
BILLING
POLICIES: Payment
for all services is required when your dog(s) are picked up. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Debit/Check Cards, and Cash. ·
Boarding (dogs spending the night):
$24. for one full day and night (24 hours). Additional time is billed at $1.00/
hour. There are discounts for multiple dogs and extended stays. Rate for one dog
for 7 full days is $150. ·
Day-care: Day-care
rates are $2 per hour. Day care is defined as dropping off and picking up in the
same day. Day care must be scheduled in advance.

HOLIDAYS:
New
Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, and New Year’s Eve:
There will be a $5.00 charge for pick-up or drop-off on these holidays. This up
charge will only be charged for dogs that are picked up and dropped off.
There is no up charge for dogs staying through the holiday.
Pick-up and drop-off times will be
limited. EARLY RETURN
POLICY:
We are more than happy to have you return home to
retrieve your pet early and we are glad that you are able to do so, however, you
MUST let us know at least two days in advance of your change in plans.
Early returns create a problem for us when you do not let us know in
advance that you are going to return earlier than what you had scheduled at your
check-in time. When we are full, (which is quite often during the summer
months), we turn away additional business in order to provide space for your pet
for the entire time you have reserved. This means that if you return early, and
we have turned other customers away, (because we are full and expect you to
return on certain date), we are unable to provide services to other clients as
we have for you. This forces us to have vacancies. Please try to help us, and
indirectly help you, by just giving us a call in advance if you are going to
return early. Unfortunately, if we do not get at least two (2) days notice, we
are unable to reschedule your reserved space and therefore you will be charged
for the complete number of booked days. DAMAGES
and INSURANCE: We
make every attempt to provide your pet with the finest quality care in a secure,
but home-like environment. Our staff, our facility and our furnishings reflect
this special care and attention. Although we are a secure facility, we make no
claims of being “destructive dog-proof”. In order to provide the best
possible boarding accommodations for your pet at reasonable rates, we cannot
absorb the cost or responsibility for damage done to our facility by destructive
dogs. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PET OWNER FOR ANY AND ALL
DAMAGES DONE TO OUR FACILITIES AND/OR FURNISHINGS. YOU WILL BE BILLED FOR
DAMAGES WHEN YOU PICK UP YOUR PET. You may, instead, opt for “up to
$100.00 worth of damage insurance” at the rate of $3.00/day per dog. If
you purchase the insurance, we will absorb the cost of any property damage
caused by your pet, during their stay, up to $100. You will still be financially
responsible for payment on any damages over $100. Insurance is not refundable.
Please remember that we have the right to refuse services. Heavily destructive
dogs will be banned from future stays at our facility. NOTE: To better serve you, Play N Stay Pet Camp recommends a dayboard test (required on any dog over 30 pounds), before your dog’s first boarding stay. This allows you to become comfortable with our procedures and facility, and allows your dog to get familiar with us. |
